PS Pictogram Series X Porter Bags by Carol T Chung

PSPictogramXPorter.jpg
All the recent PSP love makes me swoon with mobile gaming goodness! Check out these PS Pictogram Series X Porter bags put out by Sony. Although I'm not exactly sure what the concept description says, the series have what would appear to be a durable black exterior with a subtle embossed pattern of the PSP iconography. The green lining is nice, but what's really hot are the pockets! As a general rule, pockets just kick ass. And these bags are specifically designed to carry your coveted PSP so that it's safe, snug, and easily accessible where ever your travels may take you.

UPDATE: Here's a translation of the concept statement:

Based on the idea that you want to have the Playstation closer to your body, we decided to build a new brand using these pictograms [...] from here, we'll go forward with more goods that are cool and full of playful spirit. For now, the first example, our proposition to collaborate with Porter.

Thanks Greg!

DC + Incase + Apple
DC Shoes, Apple and Incase teamed up to create this lovely laptop-skate-backpack. It fits any size Powerbook in the padded laptop sleeve, easily holds a deck strapped to the outside and is designed to integrate your iPod. While I prefer the quiet simplicity of a plain black bag, this urban Winter camo isn't so bad. Though I have yet to see it in person,...
Power Pack
The Voltaic Backpack is a mobile powerhouse. It holds a Lithium Ion battery pack that is charged by external solar panels, an AC adapter or a car charger. Wires from the battery pack run through the bag to each of the pockets so you can keep your devices charged and ready to go. It comes with all the adapters you could possibly imagine, so...
Noon Solar Bags
When I first stumbled upon Noon Solar bags at the Museum of Arts and Design exhibit Beyond Green in 2006, these innovative solar accessories were in the early stages of development—in need of a little refinement and perhaps some venture capital. Fast-forward two years and Noon Solar has become a stellar brand with bags befitting Fifth Avenue and downtown alike. Apart from the ability...
Six Bike Baskets
If you've ever walked through Manhattan's Union Square green market early in the morning, you might have noticed the jury-rigged bicycles chefs use to transport their produce purchases. Cycling city streets with a cargo platform, though, is not a task to be taken lightly. With spring just around the corner and nature's bounty soon spilling into markets nationwide, we thought a timely round-up of...
