DH_beach.jpg

David Hilliard photographs sultry Summery scenes sequentially from slightly different angles. He places multiple frames together to create a unique experience of his personal visual story. Each piece is comprised of 2 or 3 panels sized at 20" x 24" or 30" x 40". Mark Moore Gallery is featuring several new pieces, including the above, at the SCOPE Miami Art Fair, 2 - 5 December. The preview continues after the jump.

Located in the hip Little Collins Street precinct, Melbourne's Lumas Gallery continues the company's global reputation for...

Instead we enlisted NYC-based photographer Keetja Allard armed...
Jeff Bark: Woodpecker
Jeff Bark's newest works are the subject of his solo show, Woodpecker, at the Michael Hoppen Contemporary Gallery in London; it's his second show at the gallery. Bark's newest works are so multilayered it makes my brain hurt—in the best way possible. The photos feel like part diorama, painting and film. His involved process includes constructing a pond-like set that took over a month...
Catharine Clark Gallery Photo Exhibit
Catharine Clark Gallery in San Francisco started 2007 with a photo exhibit that opened yesterday, featuring the works of Aaron Plant (U.S), Ruud van Empel (The Netherlands), Ellen Kooi (The Netherlands), and Carlos and Jason Sanchez (Canada). All of the artists share an affinity for subverted imagery of childhood, though their approaches vary wildly. The exhibit makes for a somewhat eerie but fascinating compilation...
